The Ebene Cyber Tower One is a 12-storey, 72m tall commercial building located in Ebene Cyber City, Mauritius. The blue glass and gray stone building has been awarded the “Intelligent Building of the Year” by the Intelligent Community Forum (ICF), USA in 2005. The IBMS (Integrated Building Management System) for this building was conceived and implemented by Race Technologies, a company based out of Chennai, India.
Situated in a residential zone and at about 10km south of Port Louis, the country's capital, the Ebene Cyber Tower One is part of a plan by the Government of Mauritius to develop information and communications technologies as a fifth pillar of the nation’s economy.
The Government House is one of the oldest buildings in Port-Louis. The ground floor and the first floor was constructed before 1740 by Mahé de La Bourdonnais which was his official residence as governor.
It serves as the venue for the Governor's official business, as well as the many receptions and functions hosted by the occupant.
